ADHD GRADING

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) a neuro-developmental disorder affecting both children and adults, characterized by a persistent pattern of inattention and/or hyperactivity-impulsivity that negatively impacts daily functioning can be graded on a scale at Kema Health Services.

THREE TYPES OF ADHD

  • Inattentive type: This type is characterized by difficulty paying attention, following instructions, and completing tasks. Individuals with this type of ADHD may be forgetful, easily distracted, and have difficulty organizing and prioritizing tasks.
  • Hyperactive-impulsive type: This type is characterized by hyperactivity and impulsivity. Individuals with this type of ADHD may be fidgety, talkative, and have difficulty sitting still. They may also act impulsively, interrupt others, and have difficulty waiting their turn.
  • Combined type: This is the most common type of ADHD, which includes symptoms of both inattention and hyperactivity-impulsivity.

QB Check provides clinicians with objective data to accurately measure core ADHD symptoms: inattention, activity levels, and impulsivity to incorporate this data to inform an ADHD diagnosis and treatment.

TELE-HEALTH VISITS

During a tele-health visit, our practitioners provide mental health care services to clients remotely. Clients can participate in tele-health visits from their homes or other locations where they have access to a computer, tablet, or smartphone with a reliable internet connection.
